We matter
A bit of a hodge podge today of varying thoughts, sales and Walmart finds

I do hope you’ve had the very best holiday weekend.
I had the best bike ride yesterday, climbed a few hills, and ran errands with Dougie getting ready for Easter dinner.
Hoping to get a “Fashion School” edition out mid-week. Working on a few easy outfit formulas for you. So not as many pictures of my outfits this week.
But…do NOT miss the sales this week. A couple favorite brands that are having great promotions today. And new arrivals. Let’s get to it!
Feel free to hit that “share” button below to share with a friend! The ultimate compliment. Thank you.

Sweetfringebenefit of the week
Each week I find the good, the sweet in a moment or season that is hard, challenging, nasty or difficult.
I hope you’ve been uplifted through your celebrations of Easter today if you’re a Christian. I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe He died, and rose on Sunday resurrected. And because of His atonement, I can live with my God again. With my family. I can begin again, I can be given Grace and comfort when needed. And I am enabled to try to be better, everyday, Because of Him.
Having this as a guiding light in my life, it centers me. Helps me prioritize and brings great peace and comfort.
I couldn’t let today go by without witnessing of what’s the most important. I love fashion, and sales and shopping etc. But being a daughter of God truly is what matters.
I’m pivoting quickly to a very secular Sweetfringebenefit today.
This week I had my second collection launch with jewelry company Allie & Bess. It’s just jewelry. But…
I take it as a value on our community. On our season. That a brand would see that I bring value to their business. When I started this, I could have never envisioned it would lead to this.
Today’s Sweetfringebenefit is acknowledging all of you. Our community. That we matter. That we bring value and enrich the lives and communities around us. I know it’s’ just jewelry, but I’m going to claim that it shouldn’t be taken lightly. Frown lines-aging neck and all. We have earned a place to be heard and seen. And it just encourages me to continue on for us all.

Sales not to miss (And they’re really good)
I provide links to sales that I’m shopping and think you’ll want to as well. I do make a small commission (called affiliate commission) if you make a purchase through my links at no additional cost. The brand pays for it, think of it as coming out of their marketing budget.
Ann Taylor 40% off (this rarely happens) This new white blouse looks versatile, love this pretty new print dress, and these striped drawstring waist pants are spring summer perfection.
Athleta 20% off full price items. I took the opportunity to update my spring activewear. Love the new colors! This tank (I sized up), this loose fit short sleeve (reg size), and this fitted short sleeve (I sized up). I also bought this jacket in the prettiest green. Of course, the best travel pieces including most versatile pants(do not look like joggers or sweats but feel like them) and this performance poplin white blouse, also on sale. I sized down to a small.
Chicos BOGO 50% OFF. I’d def get a no iron blouse in white and black if you haven’t already. And these jeans have been VERY popular. This denim jacket is a great updated style.
JCrew Factory 50% + extra 20% off $125+ off on new spring styles. This blouse is the prettiest print, and this pointelle sweater is a must have in neutral for sure. But the yellow is pretty too!
LOFT 50% off sitewide I know this is one of your favorite brands. Mine too! I have a few things on order from their new arrivals. The viral palmer pant now comes in white, love this new skirt, and new white jeans in either high rise or mid rise.
Talbots 40% off on Sunday! (Check though, because sometimes they carry it over to Monday if you’re seeing this late.) Favorite new pieces? There’s so many. I love this lightweight athletic style dress pictured below, a denim dress-short or long, and this gingham blouse.

Cutest dress! So lightweight. This one will be the one you reach for when you’re hot, when you’re tired, when you don’t know what to wear. Part of the Talbot’s 40% off sale. I sized down to a small regular, but medium would have worked too. Shoes are under $50
Walmart Finds (should we make this a weekly thing?)
Clog/sandals (get them please, I’m a 9.5 and ordered the 9 and they’re just right)
Wide leg jeans that I cannot believe are Walmart (I’d size down if in between) Warning: its rigid denim, no stretch. But the kind that molds to your own shape after wearing.)
